Privacy Policy.
Effective Date: August 20, 2026
1. Zero Permanent Storage
Transcription Engine is designed with a zero-retention philosophy. We do not store transcripts, audio streams, or media files permanently on our servers. Files produced during a transcription or download job are kept in temporary storage only long enough for you to download them, after which they are automatically purged.
2. Session Cookies & Authentication Credentials
If you choose to supply session cookies (for unlocking higher video resolution streams on platform hosts like YouTube), those cookies are processed strictly within the context of your specific job request. They are stored temporarily in transient memory, never logged, never saved to a database, and never transmitted to any third party.
3. Analytics & Tracking
We do not sell user data, nor do we run invasive third-party ad-tracking scripts or user profiling tools. Basic web server access logs may temporarily collect standard operational data (IP address, user agent, requested endpoint) solely for server maintenance, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention.
4. Third-Party Platforms
Transcription Engine fetches public video streams from third-party hosting platforms (such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram) on behalf of your request. When performing extraction, requests interact directly with public endpoints of those respective platforms. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of those services when accessing media hosted by them.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect technological or regulatory updates. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
